Tha Phoulz is/are a West Coast Rap/Hip Hop Group out of Gardena, California specializing in Hardcore, Underground and Hip-Hop with ‘Old School’ and some fresh ‘New School’ R & B beats.

Original members, Midoe and Senk Shot began the group as the II Phoulz. Later, Midoe’s brother, Misfit was added and the group became Tha Phoulz.

The groups influences are  Ice Cube, Snoop Dog, N.W.A., Public Enemy, Tupac, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Pharmcyde and Ice Tea.

As the II Phoulz, they supported the likes of the Grench (a next door neighbor) whose hit “Saturday” rocketed to the top of the R & B chart. 

They also worked with “the super producer” Overdose and Alonzo Williams (Home Wrecking Crew) and were featured on the Alonzo Williams CD called Home Grown doing two songs, “Kill ‘em all” and “Death Comes”.

They combined with the Backyard of Fools, members Cess and Wigz, to produce the CD Phoulz or Fools? , (a mixed tape), February, 2007. Featured artists are Don Cutec, Young Assassin, Murder 1, Gangsta Dane, Mortisha, NME, and Patrick Fenison. Beats were created by Likwid, Phoulish Productions, King Tipsy.  Memorable tracks include “Act like You Want It”, “When the Sh%t goes Down”, “Bringin’ Back” and “Verbal Assassins”.

Tha Phoulz & Don Cutec came together to produce the hardcore CD, Gardena is on the Map, September 2007. Featured artists include Mortisha, Kandy Cole, PO, Young Assassin, Wigz, J-Roll, and Sayan. Memorable tracks include “4 Bars”, “Grindin’”, “Fearless” and “Ghetto Superstar”.   

Their next CD, King Tee Presents…Tha Phoulz, December, 2007. Featured artist include Don Cutec, Young Assassin, Murder 1, Gangsta Dane, Mortisha, NME, Patrick Fenison and others. Beats were created by Likwid, Phoulish Productions and King Tipsy. Memorable tracks include: “If I was a Gangster”, “Cali Soul”, “Let’s get Drunk”, “Summertime” and “Bacc N Forth”

The following CD, One Thirty Something, October, 2008. Featured artists include Murder 1, Topic, Jay Capone, Backyard of Fools(Wigz & Cess), Murder One, J-Roll and Young Assassin, Patrick Fenison, Billy Lofton and X-rated. Memorable tracks include: “They Don’t Love Me No More”, “I’m Wishing”, “Tell Me” and “Doing it Big”.

Their current CD, The Music is Bangin’…the message is dope, is due to drop January 2010.
Features “Want no Problems”, the hit “Dinero”, “She Don’t Wanna See Me Fall”, “Waccest Beat” and “Stricclee Ballin’” and “Revolution”.
Bonus tracks: “Party line”, “End of the Day” and “Cold on These Streets” are earlier works added to the CD.

Individually and collectively, Tha Phoulz has collaborated with artists X-Rated (Planet X), Big Doty (mixed tape), Jay Capone (My Crazy Life 2 & 3), NME, Capital M and LA Zoo.
